Bespoke Fine Jewellery Inspired by the Ocean – Ocean Grove Lux
After completing my apprenticeship almost 25 years ago, I was fortunate enough to work with some of the best Manufacturing Jewellers in Australia & Overseas.
I’ve always had a passion to create my own style of Jewellery and overwhelm my own customers with the result. Creating Jewellery runs through my veins and my dream of one day starting my own Jewellery brand came to reality in 2016 when Gemaxis Jewellery was born.
The name Gemaxis came to life, because of my passion for Gemstones as they travel through my universe.
Just before I started Gemaxis, I completed my Gemmology degree (The in-depth scientific study of Gemstones) to ensure I only work with the highest quality gems available.
Being so fortunate and grateful to live in Ocean Grove, most of the inspiration for my Jewellery designs stem from the colours and curves of the ocean, the sweeping skies by sunsets or luscious rain forest near the Otways.
Gemaxis Jewellery Ocean Grove is where my heart is and so is every piece I design and create for my customers.
Success is defined by the right balance in anything in life.

Sustainable Practises
I begin by acknowledging the Wadawurrung people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Gemaxis operates its business and pay my respects to their Elders past and present.
I extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here and Australia wide.
Gemaxis Jewellery Ocean Grove is a positive, passioned and foremost a sustainable manufacturing Jewellery brand. Most of our designs are based on what Mother-Nature provides us with every day and we want to be part of preserving this unrivalled beauty and serenity. Gemaxis respects the industry we are being part of and recognises the changes we can make to create a sustainable path for the future.
Sustainability also means to strive to be a leader and to learn, so improvements to our business can be made along the way. Gemaxis wants to strive for excellence, not only with our creations and products we sell, but also to re-think before we make our, sometimes, complex business decisions.
Gemaxis sources 99% of its Gold and Silver used in our Jewellery from either recycled materials or prospectors Australia wide to minimise the impacts of digging it out of the ground on a large scale.
Gemaxis expects from all of our suppliers that all materials are ethically sourced and accredited accordingly. We want to see that every supplier is committed to manufacturing responsible Jewellery and metals throughout the entire supply chain, from mine to retail.
Gemaxis Jewellery is fully aware of where our Earth-Mined Diamonds and natural precious Gemstones are sourced from. We source our gems from accredited Gemstone merchants in Australia and overseas only and support the Kimberly agreement. (The Kimberley Process (KP) is a multilateral trade regime established in 2003 with the goal of preventing the flow of conflict diamonds. The core of this regime is the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) under which States implement safeguards on shipments of rough diamonds and certify them as “conflict free”.)
